Reduce Acid – Reduce Your Risk of Cancer and Other Health Problems
Body acidity is the cause or source of the many diseases and health problems. The normal blood of a healthy person is slightly alkaline. Healthy P.H. levels should be between 7.35 to 7.45. Newborn babies are almost always slightly alkaline. Many factors, such as pollution, improper diet, and an unhealthy lifestyle will make the body gradually change into an acidic environment. When the body fluids are acidic, the function of cells become weaker; the body’s metabolism will slow down, the waste of the body becomes more difficult to remove, which will cause tremendous burden to the liver and kidneys. People who are acidic are easily fatigued, have decreased memory, and aches and pains in the muscles and joints of the arms and legs. Dizziness, tinnitus, insomnia, diarrhea, constipation. According to research, blood testing on 100 patients with cancer, 100% of them showed to be acidic. Another statistic showed that 85% of patients with gout, hyper tension, high cholesterol, Muscular Sclerosis were also acidic. Some medical specialists consider the acidity of the human body to be the cause of many diseases.
Diseases caused by acidity can be categorized into 4 main types. #1: Body acid combined with certain minerals in the body, i.e. calcium, can cause osteoporosis (brittle bone syndrome). #2: Body acid stays in the joints causing inflammation, arteriosclerosis, kidney stones, arthritis, and gout. #3: Body waste that is acidic accumulates and blocks the capillaries causing poor circulation, diabetes, nephritis, and numerous cancers. #4: Excessive acidity in the gastrointestinal tract can cause constipation, chronic diarrhea, acidic urine, heartburn, acid reflux, and gastro (duodenum) ulcers. And also, acidity in the body constitution will lower the brain functions in developing children.
The 6 causes of body acidity. #1: improper diet; scientific evidence shows that a healthy diet should be 1:3 (1 part acidic foods to 3 parts alkaline foods). Many people’s diets are found to be just the opposite. Some highly acidic foods are: meat, eggs, refined flour, white rice. Eat right before go to bed can cause acidity and toxicity accumulate in the body. Skip breakfast may slow down the metabolism, which also cause body acidic. #2: Not enough exercise and a sedentary lifestyle. Non-stressful sweating, such as found during exercising, removes acidic substances from the body. No exercise will cause acids to accumulate in the body and create an overall acidic body constitution. #3: Emotional stress will increase the body’s acidity and effect circulation. #4: Unhealthy habits such as smoking and excessive consumption of alcohol will cause accumulation of acidity. #5: Chaotic lifestyle and irregular sleeping patterns causes’ acidity. #6: Pollution in the air, water and foods will cause high acidity in the body.
Reduce acid yourself and improve your health. Healthy diet, exercise, positive attitude, lowering stress and good lifestyle choices. Try to incorporate more organic fruits and vegetables into the diet. Reduce the consumption of meat and dairy products. Try difference types of seaweeds to flavor your dishes. Drink more green tea in lieu of coffee.
Foods natural alkaline/acidic properties. #1: Strongly acidic – egg yolks, cheese, refined white sugar, cakes. #2: Medium acidic – ham, beef, pork, chicken, certain fish, wheat, breads and butter. #3: Mildly acidic – white rice, peanuts, beer, fried tofu, certain fish. #4: Mild alkaline – red beans, radishes, apples, broccoli, onion, and tofu. #5: Medium alkaline – soy beans, carrots, tomatoes, bananas, oranges, strawberries, smoothies, lemons, spinach and many other green leafy vegetables. #6: Strong alkaline – grapes, green tea and other natural tea leaves, wine, seaweeds and sea vegetables
